- Boot Lake is a clear, spring-fed lake with an average depth of 65 feet and holes as deep as 109 feet. There are no inlets—only an outlet. All tree lined, Boot Lake is about three miles in length, narrow, and about 500 acres. With only two resorts and a few residents, it’s a great lake for Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass, and Pan fish. Crappie and Walleye fishing is at its best in Spring and early summer. Boot Lake is classified by the MN DNR as a trophy Walleye Lake.
